Crazyness

Okay, here is something that is not fish....

Has anyone seen this website? http://www.terrapass.com/.

It is a website that calculates your carbon footprint. It does this by asking you about your car, how much you drive it, the airline trips you take, and where your house is. My cars generate 22,409 lbs of CO2 a year, my house makes 16,200 lbs of CO2, and my air travel accounts for 5,263 lbs of CO2 for a grand total of 44,000 lbs of CO2.

This site gets better!

Not only does it tell you how much CO2 you are putting into the environment, but it also provides a convenient way for you to offset your footprint. You simply give them money. You can even choose how you want them to spend it: establish wind farms, methane mitigation for farms, or landfill gas capture.

And what do I get for my $261.80? A bumper sticker, fridge magnet, postcard stickers, luggage tags, and decals. MAN, that just isn't worth it, unless they had a T-Shirt!

New POST!!!

I know I have been way to lazy to post lately. But it is what it is. I have been busy, too. I went to Oklahoma, worked overtime..... that is about it. It feels busier than it sounds. You know, after work, dinner, clean dinner, pay bills, it is bedtime! Not much time for anything else.

Everything is going well. We have new fish babies now, 3 of them. And the babies we had a couple months ago are small dalmatian mollies! I knew their mother was a dalmatian, but I didn't know that the father was, too! I am really curious to know what kind of babies we have now. I just found them in the tank one day, I didn't know anyone was pregnant. Now, I suspect that the mickey mouse platy is pregnant, but I'll have to wait to see if I'm right. Since I think the mickey mouse platy is pregnant, I suspect the babies have a painted platy mother and a red dalmatian platy father, but we probably won't see their colors for another month.

Just so this does not turn out the be a fish blog, I'm gonna have to find something else to blog about that is not fish related or too deep and political, because though important, it makes boring reading.
